The Thai Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) has partnered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to share design data on the DesignView search database. This collaboration aims to assist entrepreneurs locally and globally by providing easy access to patent information, expediting the registration process, and reducing costs.

DesignView is a database that contains details of design applications from the European Union and 77 other countries, including key trading partners like the EU, United States, Australia, China, Japan, and Korea. To date, more than 74,000 designs from the Thai DIP have been added to the DesignView database.

This partnership simplifies access to design information without additional expenses. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to check the uniqueness of their designs before submitting an application to the DIP or other IP offices worldwide.
