S&O IP Leads Training Session on "Identifying Counterfeit Goods" in Kazakhstan

On February 10-11, 2025, S&O IP, in partnership with the Training Center of the State Revenue Committee, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted a "Practical Training on Identifying Counterfeit Goods" at the International Center for Border Cooperation (ICBC) Khorgos.
A total of 21 customs officers from the ICBC Khorgos customs post participated in the training. The training was designed to enhance the expertise of customs officers at ICBC Khorgos. It focused on the legal frameworks and practical techniques for identifying counterfeit goods. This initiative aimed to bolster the application of legal practices and strengthen the enforcement of intellectual property rights at Kazakhstan's key border crossing point.
Officials appreciated the valuable knowledge and practical guidance shared during the session. They emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with S&O IP to strengthen their efforts against counterfeiting in Kazakhstan.
