The Consultation Forum on Building Brands for Vietnam's Agricultural Products took place on March 18, 2024, organized jointly by the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the Can Tho People's Committee.
The event aimed to address the current challenges in developing brands for Vietnam's agricultural products. One key issue highlighted was the absence of a consistent legal framework governing the use of Certification Trademarks, Geographic Indications (GIs), and mechanisms to support businesses in effectively promoting their brands.
Dinh Hai, an IP Associate from S&O VIETNAM, participated in the forum. He shared practical experiences in building, developing, and protecting agricultural brands, stressing their significance not only domestically but also in international markets.
