On August 29, 2024, S&O IP Cambodia successfully conducted a training session on Counterfeit and Genuine Product Identification for customs authorities in Bavet City, an important international cross-border point between Cambodia and Vietnam. This session was designed to equip enforcement authorities with the techniques and insights needed to combat the flow of counterfeit goods effectively.

The training was not limited to customs officials in Bavet city; it also included participants from across Svay Rieng province. The session covered critical aspects of intellectual property protection, focusing on identifying counterfeit products. Customs officials found the training highly beneficial, enhancing their ability to handle IP-related matters in their daily operations.

The customs authorities expressed gratitude to S&O IP and emphasized the need for ongoing training to stay updated on brand protection strategies. They welcomed the idea of future sessions to further strengthen their enforcement capabilities.
