S&O CAMBODIA: March Customs Training on Product Identification

S&O IP CAMBODIA conducted a training session on "Product Identification" for 25 officials from the Cambodia General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) on March 4th, 2024 at the National Customs School.

Mr. Se Sokhorn, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, delivered the opening speech on behalf of His Excellency Dr. Kun Nhem, Minister attached to the Prime Minister in Charge of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, and Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.

Mr. Se Sokhorn emphasized the significance of the training, aligning it with the Customs Reform and Modernization Strategy and Action Plan of the General Department of Customs and Excise 2024. The goal is to enhance Customs officials' capability in identifying genuine and counterfeit products, thereby contributing to the effectiveness of combating cross-border trafficking of goods that violate Intellectual Property Rights.
