On October 30, 2025, S&O IP Vietnam, in collaboration with the Dien Bien Department of Industry and Trade, held intellectual property training sessions for officials of the Market Surveillance sub-Department (MSD). The program aimed to strengthen cooperation with enforcement authorities and enhance their ability to identify and handle counterfeit and IP-infringing goods.

Dien Bien holds a strategic position bordering China and Laos, serving as a key trade corridor. During the session, the S&O IP Vietnam team introduced brand histories, key product features, and practical methods for distinguishing genuine products from counterfeits, with a focus on emerging e-commerce infringement trends.

Officials responded positively to the training and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with S&O IP Vietnam to enhance local enforcement capabilities and protect IP rights more effectively.
