During the final days of August 2025, the Eurasian Patent Office launched significant upgrades to its digital infrastructure by migrating its official publication services, including the E-Bulletins for inventions and industrial designs, the Eurasian Publication Server, and the Patent Registers for inventions and designs, to a unified integrated platform. This transition preserved all existing content while modernizing the technological foundation to boost efficiency, ensure continuity, and enhance user accessibility.

Alongside these initiatives, EAPO reported a sharp rise in application volumes. In the first half of 2025 alone, patent filings jumped by 20%, with a 13% increase in design applications compared to the same period in the previous year. Grants of invention patents rose by 10%, while grants for industrial designs surged by an impressive 50%. Notably, EAPO maintained rapid processing times—first office actions were issued in just 1.25 months on average. Additional highlights include the rollout of a unified Eurasian Industrial Property Register and growth in maintenance by Chinese patent holders.
