Strengthening Intellectual Property Collaboration: Rospatent and NPIC of Tajikistan

The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the National Patent Information Center (NPIC) of Tajikistan have solidified their commitment to intellectual property advancement through a memorandum of understanding. This collaboration, announced by Rospatent's press service, was formalized on the sidelines of the "Intellectual Property in the XXI Century: Trends and Achievements. 30 Years of Intellectual Property in Tajikistan" conference. Yuri Zubov, Head of Rospatent, and Mirzo Ismoilzoda, NPIC Director, signed the memorandum, highlighting shared objectives for future cooperation. Afterwards, bilateral negotiations were held during which several key areas were spotlighted:
1. Digitalization: Both organizations recognize the potential of digital innovation. Collaborative efforts will harness technology to streamline processes, enhance information exchange, and provide efficient access to patent data.
2. Patent Libraries: By nurturing patent libraries, Rospatent and NPIC aim to foster research and innovation. These repositories of knowledge will fuel inventors, researchers, and entrepreneurs.
3. Skill Enhancement: The evolving landscape of intellectual property demands ongoing learning. Both entities are committed to bolstering specialists' skills through continuous education, ensuring their expertise remains cutting-edge.
4. Global Engagement: Collaboration extends to international platforms like WIPO and the Eurasian Patent Organization. This showcases Rospatent and NPIC's dedication to contributing to global IP discussions.
