The 8th Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation Between East and West China took place in Xi'an, China, organized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Shaanxi Intellectual Property Office.

Ms. Salome Tsimakuridze, Head of the Administration Department at the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti), represented Georgia and delivered a presentation titled “Intellectual Property Contributing to High-Quality Development”.

The growing cooperation between Georgia and China in intellectual property protection is crucial for strengthening bilateral relations and supporting national economic development.

A significant milestone in this collaboration was the signing of a Letter of Intent for Cooperation in Geographical Indications Protection between Sakpatenti and the CNIPA, marking a new strategic phase in Georgian-Chinese relations.
