S&O KAZAKHSTAN conducted a successful training session in Almaty.

On March 26, 2024, in collaboration with the Department of Justice, we had the privilege of organizing and conducting an offline training session in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event brought together representatives from key entities including the Department of Economic Investigations, the Department of State Revenue, and the Police Department. Their participation underscored a shared commitment to safeguarding intellectual property rights and tackling the challenges posed by counterfeit products.

Led by ANGELINA TARASOVA, Director of the Kazakhstan Office, the training session delved into practical experiences and strategies for identifying counterfeit goods. With a focus on the unauthorized use of trademarks from globally renowned brands, the session provided invaluable insights into distinguishing genuine products from counterfeits. Angelina's presentation highlighted the differences between genuine and counterfeit goods, including their origins, manufacturing processes, and supply chains.

The officials expressed their gratitude for the training and underscored the significance. Officials confirmed they look forward to receiving future training sessions.
