S&O IP THAILAND PARTNERS WITH CUSTOMS OFFICE FOR COUNTERFEIT GOODS DESTRUCTION CEREMONY

On June 5th, 2024, the S&O IP team had the honor of being invited by the Customs Office Region 2 to witness the destruction ceremony of 1,554 counterfeit goods, including branded handbags, watches, pillows, and blankets. The event took place at the Customs Office Region 2 in Nong Khai Province, Thailand, marking the conclusion of legal proceedings against these infringements.
S&O IP Thailand participated in the destruction process, underscoring our commitment to preventing the reuse and further violation of intellectual property rights. Following the destruction, the remains were safely and environmentally disposed of by the Nong Khai Municipality.
This initiative was crucial in eliminating trademark-infringing goods and preventing future violations. S&O IP Thailand is proud to have supported this effort and remains dedicated to collaborating with authorities to combat intellectual property violations.
