S&O CHINA: TRAINING CUSTOMS OFFICIALS TO COMBAT COUNTERFEITING WITH 2,500 OFFICIALS TRAINED

As part of S&O IP anti-counterfeiting strategic actions in China, engaging Chinese customs officials to stop counterfeits at the border is an efficient and cost-effective way to protect brands. Customs training increases officials' knowledge and awareness of brands and related products.
In spring 2024, S&O CHINA organized 16 training sessions covering 23 direct customs points and 342 subordinate customs points, training approximately 2,500 officials.
For the remainder of 2024, the S&O team in China will continue collaborating with customs authorities to support efforts in combating counterfeits at the borders.
