Moldova’s IP Office Promotes Intellectual Property at Moldagrotech 2025

On March 12-15, 2025, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Moldova’s IP office, participated in the 45th International Specialized Exhibition “Moldagrotech (Spring)” at Moldexpo in Chisinau, Moldova. The event, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and supported by the Entrepreneurship Development Organization (EDO), served as a key platform for showcasing agricultural innovations and technologies.

On March 13, 2025, the AGEPI specialists offered free consultations on Moldova’s intellectual property (IP) protection system, emphasizing the importance of IP rights in the agricultural sector. They also distributed informational materials to raise awareness. AGEPI representatives also participated in the National Scientific-Practical Conference on EU-compliant packaging and labeling requirements for agricultural products. They discussed IP protection in labeling and addressed participants' questions.

The event featured over 60 exhibitors from Moldova and 10 other countries, including China, Turkey, Italy, and Romania. With an estimated 20% increase in new innovations, Moldagrotech 2025 highlighted the rapid global development of the agricultural technology sector.

Moldagrotech 2025 continues to foster collaboration among agricultural producers, technology suppliers, and research institutions, enhancing industry innovation and competitiveness.
