On 26 April 2024, a conference was held in Dushanbe in honour of the International Intellectual Property Day. During the conference, the National Strategy for the Development of Intellectual Property until 2030 was announced. This strategy outlines all actions to achieve significant results in the field of intellectual property. The conference was held with the participation of experts from Tajikistan and Russia. Experts and other participants of the forum noted the importance of cooperation in the implementation of innovations.

According to Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organisation, "We carry out the activities that people ask for. And this activity is the future, the future of Tajikistan, the future of the whole Eurasia, the future of the whole world. Within the framework of the Eurasian Community, Tajikistan is actively working in the Eurasian Patent Organisation. All eight countries of our region protect intellectual property jointly. You can file one application and get protection in eight countries at once".

International Intellectual Property Day has been celebrated since 2001.

Unquestionably, this tool is very convenient for registration of granting legal protection to inventions and industrial designs on the basis of a single Eurasian patent valid immediately in the territory of the following 8 countries: Turkmenistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia.
