The fourth China International Consumer Products Expo, called the CICPE, recently concluded in Haikou, Hainan. The event brought together over 4,000 consumer goods brands from 71 countries and regions, showcasing more than 1,462 new products in their debut presentations. The Expo highlighted the latest trends in consumer goods and underscored China's achievements in intellectual property protection and innovation.

The Expo showcased China's commitment to fostering an environment that supports innovation through stringent IP laws. Exhibitors displayed various products incorporating advanced technologies and unique design elements, many protected under multiple IP rights. This protection is crucial for encouraging innovation and ensuring creators reap the benefits of their inventions and designs.

Furthermore, the Expo's dedicated section for Geographical Indications (GIs) facilitated a cultural exchange between China and Europe, featuring products like European wines and Chinese teas. This initiative promotes unique regional products and protects them through GI rights, which are a form of IP rights that ensure the quality and authenticity of products derived from specific locations.
