·         CHINA’S NATIONAL IP WEEK: BEIJING INTELLCTUAL PROPERTY CARNIVAL

A cultural carnival dedicated to intellectual property commenced in Beijing on April 18, 2024, in celebration of the upcoming World Intellectual Property Day on April 26.

Organized by the Copyright Society of China and the China Law Society, the carnival showcases the latest scientific and technological advancements, provides job opportunities for intellectual property professionals, and promotes domestic brands. At the inauguration ceremony held at Renmin University of China, organizers stressed the importance of innovation as the primary driver of development.

This event aligns with China's National Intellectual Property Week 2024, from April 20 to 26. Led by China's National Intellectual Property Administration, the Central Publicity Department, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, along with 18 other authorities, including the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the week aims to promote high-quality development by facilitating the commercialization and utilization of intellectual property rights.

The National IP Week will feature various themes and formats, showcasing achievements through promotional videos and themed exhibitions. The events will highlight the crucial role of intellectual property in enhancing brand competitiveness and economic growth.
