On July 22, 2025, S&O IP Thailand conducted an in-person training session for customs officials from the Laem Chabang Port Customs Office in Chonburi Province. The session focused on comprehensive anti-counterfeiting training, including how to identify suspicious products, distinguish genuine goods from counterfeits, and understand the risks posed by counterfeit products to both Thai citizens and brand owners.

The Laem Chabang Port Customs Office operates at Thailand’s largest seaport — one of the busiest in Southeast Asia and a central hub within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Handling a significant volume of sea cargo annually, the office plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and intercepting counterfeit and prohibited goods.

S&O IP Thailand was honored to lead this important training session, aimed at strengthening the capacity of customs officials to protect brand owners’ intellectual property rights.
