S&O IP Cambodia is pleased to announce the successful completion of its first intellectual property training programme focused on counterfeit product identification.

On 29 January 2026, S&O IP Cambodia co-organised, together with the Consumer Protection and Competition Directorate General (CCPDG) of the Ministry of Commerce, a specialised IP training session for 25 enforcement authorities based in Phnom Penh, Kandal Province, and Kampong Speu Province. The programme was held under the auspices of Mr Nget Chek, representative of H.E. Kim Meassokseiha, Director General of the CCPDG.

The training provided enforcement officials with practical exposure to international brand portfolios, enabling a clearer understanding of brand-specific intellectual property rights and the key distinctions between genuine and counterfeit products. Brand owners and enforcement officers also had the opportunity to exchange practical experiences, discuss enforcement challenges, and strengthen cooperation to support more effective IP protection efforts.
