S&O VIETNAM HOLDS ANTI-COUNTERFEITING TRAINING FOR BAC GIANG OFFICIALS

On May 16, 2024, S&O VIETNAM conducted a training session focused on combating counterfeiting issues, engaging over 40 key officials from Bac Giang province's Police Department, Science & Technology Department, and Market Surveillance Department. This province, adjacent to Hanoi City, serves as a center for manufacturing and warehousing activities.
The session delved into multifaceted strategies to combat online and offline counterfeit activities. Emphasis was placed on the significant role of fostering collaboration between IP owners and government authorities, coupled with the implementation of product authentication measures.
Representing our clients, including international consumer goods, eyewear, fragrances, sportswear, clothing, and accessories sectors, we underscored the collective responsibility to deter the expansion of counterfeit goods.
The officials expressed gratitude to S&O IP for organizing the training, which provided them with valuable insights and effective methods for detecting counterfeit products. They confirmed they look forward to receiving future training sessions.
