On November 2, 2023, Sergey Krakhmal representing the Russian office of Schmitt & Orlov, participated in a conference exploring opportunities for Russian business in the UAE and other Gulf countries.
The event took place at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and brought together representatives of Russian and Emirati businesses, as well as international trade and investment experts.
The event discussed key aspects of cooperation between Russia and the UAE, practical steps for entering the Gulf markets, export and import issues, as well as existing support measures for foreign companies. The experts considered the specifics of working with holding companies, state customers, as well as tax legislation and customs regulation.
