On January 14, 2025, S&O IP Vietnam conducted a training session with the Economic Police (EP) of the Ung Hoa District Police. The Economic Police play a crucial role in protecting intellectual property (IP) rights, particularly in combating counterfeiting.

Ung Hoa District is a key hub for warehouses and manufacturing, supplying not only Hanoi but also neighboring regions. Recently, the district’s Economic Police have successfully handled several major counterfeiting cases, leading to the seizure of large quantities of counterfeit goods.

During the training session, we shared our expertise in identifying counterfeit products, analyzed trends in the local counterfeit market, and strengthened our collaboration with law enforcement.
