S&O IP Participates in International IP Law Conference in Tbilisi

On October 10-11, 2024, S&O IP participated in the Private Sector Conference on IP Law and Policy held in Tbilisi, Georgia. This event was organized in cooperation with the Georgian Bar Association and with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, as part of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). The conference attracted over 50 attendees, including businesses and IP professionals from Georgia and other countries.

Irina ASHKINA, S&O IP Director of Eurasia region, contributed to a panel discussion focused on Regional Successes and Challenges in Enforcement. The panel addressed key questions regarding the current level of awareness among businesses, consumers, and government entities concerning intellectual property rights, as well as the impact of IP infringements from a business perspective.

International IP professionals and brand representatives contributed valuable insights during the two-day conference.
