On June 24, 2024, Angelina TARASOVA, Director of the S&O IP Kazakhstan, presented a lecture at the WIPO Summer School 2024 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The session was focused on Trade Secrets and engaged young professionals by exploring essential elements including the definition and significance of trade secrets, strategies for their protection, and pertinent legal considerations. Additionally, Angelina TARASOVA analyzed the distinction between trade secrets and production secrets, emphasizing key points on integrating trade secrets into business practices. This session represented a substantial contribution to the educational initiative, strengthening the relationship between S&O IP and local academic institutions and promoting the advancement of intellectual property knowledge in the region.
