On May 28th, 2024, S&O IP Cambodia conducted a training session in Poipet City, joined by officials from the Cambodia General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) branches of Poipet and Banteay Mean Chey. The focus was on identifying counterfeit products and safeguarding intellectual property rights.

Throughout the session, valuable insights were exchanged regarding counterfeit product identification, complemented by the GDCE officials sharing their intellectual property best practices. The collaborative dialogue delved into effective strategies for addressing counterfeiting in Cambodia and bolstering protection for brand owners' intellectual property rights.

The officials expressed their gratitude for organizing the training, underscoring their readiness to collaborate with S&O IP and brand owners in combating counterfeiting and upholding intellectual property rights. They emphasized the importance of the event, confirmed they will hold internal training sessions, and look forward to receiving future training sessions.
