S&O IP Cambodia Participates in IP Training for Customs Officials in Phnom Penh

On December 10, 2024, S&O IP Cambodia had the honor of being invited by the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE) to participate in an internal training session on "Intellectual Property Rights" for 50 customs officials in Phnom Penh. The training took place at the Customs National School.
The event was attended by Mr. Sok Sovithyea, President of the Department of Planning and Techniques at GDCE, representing His Excellency Dr. Kun Nhem, Minister and Director General of the GDCE, who is attached to the Prime Minister's Office.
The training focused not only on the key aspects of Intellectual Property Rights but also provided a valuable opportunity to engage with customs officials. S&O IP contributed by offering insights into international brand recognition and product identification on behalf of brand owners.
The session was highly engaging for the customs officials, who expressed great appreciation for the training. They look forward to continued collaboration with S&O IP in the future.
