The first training brought together over 30 specialists from key enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Patents and Information of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, the Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification, and Trade Inspection. The second training session was held for employees of Tajikpatent and Tajikstandard.
The training sessions focused on intellectual property protection, including trademark registration and enforcement mechanisms, best practices for detecting counterfeits, and effective anti-counterfeiting strategies.
Both sessions were key steps in building awareness and capacity among Tajikistan’s government officials, contributing to stronger IP enforcement and a more robust legal framework to combat counterfeiting.
