At the 2025 ASEAN IPA Annual General Meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association (ASEAN IPA) outlined its key objectives for the future of intellectual property (IP) in the region. With a focus on strengthening regional cooperation, expanding influence, and fostering international partnerships, the association is committed to driving IP growth and enhancing collaboration among Southeast Asian nations.

The association aims to:

- Strengthen Regional Cooperation: Efforts will focus on improving collaboration between ASEAN member states to address shared IP challenges and enhance the region’s collective IP framework.

- Expand Influence and Foster International Partnerships: ASEAN IPA intends to increase its global influence and establish partnerships with other IP organizations to promote the region’s IP development.

- Promote Education and Knowledge Sharing: The association plans to invest in educational initiatives to expand its members' knowledge base and ensure that stakeholders stay informed about the latest developments in IP law and enforcement.

Through these initiatives, ASEAN IPA aims to create a more integrated and efficient IP environment across Southeast Asia, benefiting businesses and legal professionals.
