On November 7, 2024, Armenia's Ministry of Economy Intellectual Property Office, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and supported by the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, launched the project “Intellectual Property as a Driver for a Sustainable Armenian Wine Industry.”

The event brought together key figures, including WIPO Deputy Director General Hasan Kleib, Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Sevak Mikayelyan, and representatives from Armenia’s wine industry. The workshop underscored the significance of intellectual property in enhancing the identity, branding, and reputation of Armenian wines.

This initiative aims to equip wine producers with the knowledge and tools to effectively utilize intellectual property, increasing the value and competitiveness of their products in the global market.
