On June 18, 2025, S&O IP Vietnam was pleased to take part in a national training session on intellectual property rights (IPR) protection, organized for Southern Customs authorities following recent structural reforms.
The session brought together over 100 customs officials and representatives from the Customs Department to enhance their capacity in anti-counterfeiting, product authentication, and border enforcement. It provided a valuable platform for discussing current IP infringement trends, enforcement challenges, and strategies for stronger border protection.
S&O IP engaged in detailed discussions with officials on the evolving nature of counterfeit activities and the operational impact of the new customs structure. We shared legal recommendations and presented case insights, with a focus on practices at Moc Bai International Border Gate in Tay Ninh, a key checkpoint for high-volume goods, particularly in the fashion and industrial materials sectors.
Customs authorities expressed appreciation for our continued support in strengthening IP enforcement. S&O IP Vietnam remains committed to close collaboration with enforcement agencies to combat counterfeiting and protect IP rights across the country.
