On October 24, 2024, Angelina TARASOVA, S&O IP Kazakhstan Country Manager, and Amina KURENKEEVA, Patent Attorney, were honored to be guest lecturers at SDU University in Almaty, as part of SDU's annual education project, "Best Practices from Leading Law Firms." Now in its fifth year, this initiative aims to support the next generation of legal professionals by providing graduating law students with insights from industry experts and exposure to real-world legal scenarios.

The Georgian-Swiss Intellectual Property Project officially concluded with a closing event held in Kachreti, Georgia. Launched on August 1, 2022, the Project was funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and implemented in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) and Sakpatenti, Georgia’s National Intellectual Property Center.

On April 27, the Market Surveillance Department, in collaboration with the Economic Police in Vietnam, conducted a surprise inspection of five warehouses in Thanh Hoa - Vietnam. The warehouses are under the ownership of Mrs. Truong Thi Lien (born in 1971). The inspection team discovered tens of thousands of suspected counterfeits offered for sale through live streaming on the Facebook platform

On May 5, 2025, our colleagues from S&O IP Cambodia were pleased to attend a key event held at Angkor University under the theme “IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP.”
