S&O IP DELIVERS ONLINE TRAINING ON BRAND PROTECTION FOR QUANZHOU CUSTOMS

On August 5, 2025, S&O IP conducted an online intellectual property training session with Quanzhou Customs, the training was attended by 28 frontline officials.

The session provided officials with an overview of the brand’s development and core product features, before focusing on key authentication techniques to distinguish genuine products from counterfeits. Practical enforcement insights were also shared, including examples of past customs seizure cases, to strengthen the officials’ day-to-day inspection work.

Following the session, Ms. Huang of Quanzhou Customs expressed her appreciation, noting that Quanzhou’s jurisdiction encompasses industries such as textiles, apparel, footwear, and toys, which present a wide variety of inspection challenges. She emphasized that the training would enhance officials’ ability to identify counterfeit products, improve enforcement efficiency, and contribute to more effective intellectual property protection.

S&O IP thanked Quanzhou Customs for their continued collaboration and confirmed its commitment to further cooperation and knowledge-sharing to support IP enforcement in the region.
