On September 11-12, 2025, S&O IP conducted a Training Course on Intellectual Property Rights for 75 enforcement officials from the Anti-Economic Crimes Police across Cambodia, including representatives from Phnom Penh, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Cham, Prey Veng, Kandal, and Svay Rieng provinces.
The program, organized in collaboration with international brand owners and in coordination with the Anti-Economic Crimes Police and the Intellectual Property Department, covered not only the identification of genuine and counterfeit products but also investigative techniques, case-building strategies, and the legal framework for IP enforcement. As a member of both the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Cambodia continues to strengthen its IP enforcement capacity. This training enhanced officials’ understanding of international brands and improved their ability to detect counterfeit goods in real time.
