In October 2025, the EU4IP initiative continued to drive collaboration among intellectual property offices across Eurasia, including Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine. The program focuses on strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing enforcement mechanisms, and fostering closer policy coordination across the region’s IP systems.

Recent activities under EU4IP include study visits for customs and enforcement officials, regional capacity-building workshops, and expert exchanges on IP legislation and innovation policy. These initiatives are designed to promote greater consistency in examination practices, improve protection for rights holders, and facilitate smoother cooperation between national IP authorities.

The ongoing work under EU4IP reflects a shared regional commitment to developing modern, transparent, and innovation-oriented IP frameworks. By advancing cross-border collaboration and harmonization efforts, Eurasian IP institutions continue to strengthen their role in supporting creativity, fair competition, and sustainable economic growth.
