On September 5, 2025, S&O IP Thailand took part in the official Destruction Ceremony of Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Goods, where more than 1.5 million counterfeit items, valued at approximately THB 900 million (EUR 24.1 million), were destroyed. The goods, including apparel, bags, electronics, and cosmetics, had been confiscated through enforcement actions by the Royal Thai Police, the Customs Department, and the Department of Special Investigation.

The destruction was carried out under strict procedures to ensure the items could not re-enter the market and to highlight the health, safety, and legal risks associated with counterfeit products.

Despite being recognized in the 2025 USTR Special 301 Report, Thailand remains on the Watch List. The Thai government has reiterated its commitment to strengthening enforcement and taking further steps to be removed from this designation. S&O IP supports these efforts and continues to underline the importance of safeguarding intellectual property rights and combating infringement in Thailand.
