On February 6, 2025, Thai authorities launched an awareness campaign to combat the sale and use of counterfeit goods, emphasizing the importance of protecting intellectual property. The Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) hosted an event at Bangkok's MBK Centre, in collaboration with commercial sector officials, various government agencies, and international trading partners.

This campaign is part of a broader effort to strengthen the enforcement of intellectual property laws in Thailand. Various activities began in February and will continue into March, taking place across the country to raise public awareness and curb the spread of counterfeit goods.

ISOC is encouraging the public to actively report intellectual property crimes and to avoid buying or selling counterfeit goods. Strengthening law enforcement efforts will require greater vigilance from both the authorities and the public to identify and report these violations.

Authorities believe that effectively addressing intellectual property issues will enhance Thailand’s position in international commerce, promote economic stability, and foster a fair business environment.
