On August 26-27, 2024, our colleagues Arsalan TANGANOV and Oleg OVCHARENKO served as featured speakers at the "IPR Protection & Enforcement: Workshop on Anti-Counterfeiting Measures" in Baku, Azerbaijan. This event was organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP).

S&O IP joined a panel of industry experts to address key issues in intellectual property rights enforcement, with a focus on the latest trends and challenges in IPR enforcement, e-commerce, and online brand protection.

The discussion also covered the role of third-party retailers, provided an overview of IP enforcement across Eurasia, and emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration and proactive IP strategies. Their session included practical case studies and insights into raising public awareness and enhancing enforcement practices in the region.
